The eclectic tastes of the province from the Far East have for long breathed over to the culinary melting pot of Chennai. Now, with the month long Schezwan food festival that awaits one at Chin Chin, the flavours of the cuisine have perhaps been well mingled in the already miscellaneous brew that the city boasts of. The Residency boasts of good connectivity, with the congestion being sorted out, and what one can perhaps take is a relatively trouble-free ride to their Chinese restaurant where for the whole month of January , Chef Shanmugham rolls out his 25 speciality Schezwan recipes as his flavours of the month. Chef Shan, nicknamed so by his staff, having spent most part of his life in the Far East has for over 17 years donned the Chin Chin hat and with his expertise in the Schezwan cuisine, the restaurant that has been under renovation for about 13 months has seen some new energies.
